Steps to success

  • 1st year uni

    Choose an approved accounting or finance degree.

  • 2nd year uni

    Secure a vacation role or cadetship and get useful work experience.

  • Final year uni

    Apply early in Semester 1 for graduate positions.

  • Working as a graduate

    Enrol in the CA Program.

    Comprises of five modules and Mentored Practical Experience.

  • Chartered Accountant

    Successfully complete the CA Program and become eligible for full membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

    Meet the business leader

    Bring your students along to our annual event aimed at Year 12 and Year 13 students across Australia and New Zealand. Students can meet and network with a range of employers who talk about their work experience opportunities including internship and graduate positions.

    Our young CA members regularly visit high schools to share their career insights and experiences with students, teachers and careers advisers like you. Encourage your students to come along to ask questions and get insights to help them make informed career choices.
