How CAAG can help

If you’re faced with a challenging ethical situation at work or an important career decision, the Chartered Accountants Advisory Group (CAAG) offers free, confidential guidance to help you choose a course of action.

The CAAG is made up of senior CAs with a broad cross-section of public practice and business experience. They provide counselling and support for CAs dealing with situations such as:

  • Pressure to act unethically
  • Knowledge of fraud or inappropriate conduct
  • Practice management issues
  • Career guidance questions
  • Decision to join or purchase a practice
  • Partnership problems (relationship or financial)
  • Conflict of interest
  • Disputes between clients
  • Succession planning
  • CA disciplinary process

When CAAG can’t help

CAAG members are able to provide advice on:

  • concerns that aren't work related
  • specific technical matters
  • issues requiring legal advice

How to get help

mg注册真人 and we’ll put you in touch with the CAAG manager for your region, who will refer you to the CAAG panel member who best suits your needs.

The CAAG panel member will discuss the matter with you on a strictly confidential basis to help you make a considered, informed decision about what to do.

Trans-Tasman network, local support

CAAG operates under Trans-Tasman guidelines and is made up of seven regional groups:

  • New South Wales

  • South 澳大利亚 and Northern Territory
  • Victoria and Tasmania
  • Western 澳大利亚
  • New Zealand

Each group has a Chair, active members and regional office support.
